Greek Food - Recipe: Spanakorizo


  Spanakorizo
Spinach with rice

Ingredients:
2-3 Pinch Dill (To Taste)
3-4 Whole Green Onions
1 Small Lemons (Sliced in Wedges)
3 oz Olive Oil
1-2 Pinch Pepper (To Taste)
3/4 Cup Rice
2-3 Pinch Salt (To Taste)
1.10 lb Spinach (Fresh)
1 1/2 Cup Water
  Directions:
  • Clean and wash the spinach.
  • Wilt, drain and cut into large chunks.
  • Finely chop the green onion and fry in the oil for a few minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients all together.
  • Stir well and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve with the lemon wedges.
